This previous week during the Final Fantasy XIV Las Vegas Fan Fest, Square Enix announced a brand new expansion for FFXIV. This new expansion is called Shadowbringers and will be releasing in early Summer 2019. The plot of the story will apparently involve players going on new adventures as they become Warriors of Darkness. They will also be adding Blue Mage job class and lots of other new content that they will detail in the upcoming months leading up to the launch of the expansion.
