Final Fantasy VII Remake Development Is Moving Forward As Planned (FF News 1/5/17 to 1/12/18)

Yoshinori Kitase the producer of the Final Fantasy VII Remake game at Square Enix was asked some questions for a huge New Year group interview for the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu. During the interview, Kitase mentioned some details regarding the development of the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Kitase brought up that the game’s development is moving forward as planned. When they asked him for his 2018 goals he explained that when it comes to his involvement with the FF7 Remake he would prefer working at a comfortable pace and taking it easy without too much stress.

An odd choice for a 2018 goal but I guess Yoshinori Kitase does not want to deal with the tough parts of the project like Hajime Tabata did with the development of Final Fantasy XV. Luckily Tetsuya Nomura is director so Kitase won’t have too much work on his hands so he might just be able to accomplish his goal for the year.
