Square Enix Might Add Playable Female Character DLC to Final Fantasy XV (FF News 10/28/16 to 11/4/16)

In a recent interview with JeuxVideo, Square Enix’s producer for Final Fantasy XV Haruyoshi Sawatari was asked if there would be a possibility to pay to play as Luna or other female characters from the game in future DLC. Sawatari responded to this by saying “The demand (for this type of DLC) is clearly there, and they will think about it.”

Square Enix in the past has stated that they have future plans for DLC that have not been announced yet. So it is possible that they may release similar episode DLC packs like the ones for Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus but for female characters instead.

Hajime Tabata has gone on record to say that they are still working on the development of all the future DLC so I’m certain that they will pay attention to certain things the fans want as DLC and perhaps include them in future DLC packs.

I don’t know if I’d want to play as Luna Frail. Hopefully she’s more bad-ass in the game than I’ve seen so far. She’s got spunk (snort) and she tries hard but so far she’s just been getting saved by everyone else. But the Omen trailer gives me hope. That Luna Frail I’d like to get to know.
